Cotgrave welfare reserves has been appointed a new manager after an agreement between the committee as of the 14th of October. Richard Jonson has stepped down to assistant manager and a young Mike Turner 25 (or so he claims) fancies trying his luck. Mike was a player with the 1st team last season but has been forced out of playing due to a dodgy knee. His first challenge was to travel to an inform Gedling Southbank who beat Rud 8-1 previously . After the reserves got spanked on the previous sat 7-1 against Boots moral was a bit low. All credit deserved he had a chat with the lads before the game told everyone what he expected and encouraged from the sideline. At the end of the match you could say we walked away a bit disappointed with a 1-1 draw having pressuring Gedling for the last 20 mins and 2 or 3 shots cleared of the line. Maybe we will see a turn around in results and get our season going. No offense to previous management in any way.
